Grand Master Mike McGavin is a fully accredited 8th Dan Black Belt with extensive experience of training and teaching in Korea, China and many other countries where he has developed a formidable reputation.

A former Royal Marine Commando and Special Forces operative, his tough teaching methods have produced many national and international champions and his coaching methods are also in demand by other high profile sports personalities and survival training agencies.

His regular trips to China to compete, train in and teach Taekwondo and Taiji (Tai Chi) have seen him

featured on mainstream Chinese television and an audience with the Head Abbot of the Warrior Monks

at the famous Shoalin Temple.
