Grand Master Andy Davies is a fully accredited 9th Dan Black Belt holder certified by the World Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan Headquarters in Korea.

He first began his training in Martial Arts in 1968 from which time he has studied, Judo, Kung-Fu, Karate and Taekwondo and was instrumental in helping to establish the British Olympic Taekwondo Governing Body and served as a member on the National Executive Committee. As a Regional Coach he coached one of his students to winning an Olympic Selection Championships.
A former member of the Royal Air Force (Military) Police, he represented the RAF in inter-service championships and also taught Taekwondo to US Special Forces (Navy Seals) whilst on detachment.

Grand Master Davies has successfully competed in many Open events where he won nine British Titles and a European Medal, representing Great Britain as well as competing in international Poomsae competition at the invitation of the National Olympic Taekwondo Governing Body.

During 2012 he received a
Chung Do Kwan Recognition
Award from Grand Master
Park, Sung Jae: President of
Chung Do Kwan International.
​
In November 2014 he was
promoted to 9th Dan Black
belt by Grand Master Park,
Hae Man, the current President of the World Taekwondo Chung
Do Kwan Federation Headquarters, in Korea.

In 2016 he was invited to an investiture ceremony at the Palace of Westminster, in London, where he was awarded a British Citizen's Medal for his achievements and for services to education through Teaching Taekwondo.

Today he is recognised as one of the leading coaching specialists in the
UK and is an Assessor, Verifier and Centre Coordinator for Taekwondo
and Martial Arts bespoke qualifications through officially recognised
and government approved Awarding Bodies.
